Everglades is a tiny community of 200 people in Collier County, sitting right at the edge of Everglades National Park. You'll reach it via US-41 (Tamiami Trail) - about 40 miles southeast of Naples or 80 miles west of Miami. The settlement sits where the highway crosses the Turner River, which flows through mangrove tunnels toward the Gulf.
