Evansville anchors southwestern Indiana along the Ohio River, connected by I-64 east-west and I-164 north to I-69. Most visitors drive I-64 from Louisville or St. Louis, while Indianapolis travelers take I-69 south. The city features the nation's largest public sculpture, "Awakening," a 60-foot giant emerging from Sunrise Park.
