Evan is a tiny farming community in Brown County, Minnesota, about 25 miles west of Mankato via Highway 14. Most visitors come from New Ulm, 15 miles northeast, or take County Road 15 south from Highway 14. The town sits in classic Minnesota prairie country with corn and soybean fields. The historic grain elevator still stands as a landmark visible for miles across the flat farmland.
