Eva is a small Morgan County town in north Alabama's Tennessee River Valley, about 15 miles southwest of Decatur via Highway 67. The main route brings visitors through rolling farmland typical of the Appalachian foothills. Most long-distance travelers connect through I-65 at Decatur for trips to Huntsville or Birmingham, while locals use Highway 67 for daily trips to Decatur. Freight trains on the historic Louisville and Nashville Railroad still roll through town center several times each day.
