Eustace is a small East Texas town of about 1,000 people, located 45 miles southeast of Dallas via Highway 198 off I-20. The drive takes about 50 minutes through rolling hills where the metroplex meets the Piney Woods. Most traffic uses Highway 198 and connects through Athens for regional trips. The town hosts the annual Old Fiddlers Reunion bluegrass festival each May.
