Estelline is a farming town of 830 people in eastern South Dakota, about 25 miles northeast of Watertown via Highway 28. The town sits on rolling prairie where Highway 28 meets Highway 22, serving as a quiet agricultural center. Its massive grain elevator complex towers over the surrounding farmland and can be spotted from miles away across the flat countryside.
