Estancia is a small ranching town 40 miles southeast of Albuquerque, sitting at 6,100 feet in the high desert Estancia Valley. Take I-40 east to Exit 175, then NM-333 south to US-285. The 1909 sandstone courthouse on Main Street remains the working center of Torrance County government.
