Erwin is a small farming town of 105 people in southeastern South Dakota's Kingsbury County. Highway 14 runs east-west through town, connecting to Brookings (30 miles east) and Huron (45 miles west). From Sioux Falls, take I-29 north to Highway 14 west for about 60 miles. The historic grain elevator dominates the skyline and can be seen for miles across the flat prairie.
