Erwin is a small North Carolina town of about 4,700 people located 30 miles south of Raleigh along the Cape Fear River. Reach it via US Highway 421 from Dunn or Fayetteville, or take US 401 south from Raleigh and connect to local roads. The town's restored 1900 Atlantic Coast Line Railroad depot now serves as a local museum.
