Enterprise is a small farming town in Utah's high desert, about 40 miles northwest of St. George via Highway 18. At 5,300 feet elevation, it sits in a wide valley surrounded by distant mountains and sagebrush country. The drive from St. George takes 45 minutes through rolling desert terrain. Founded in the 1890s as a cotton settlement, Enterprise still operates the original pioneer-built reservoir for irrigation and fishing.
