Enterprise is a southeastern Alabama city of about 30,000 people, positioned along US Highway 84 between Montgomery and Dothan. The city sits near Fort Rucker and serves as a regional hub for the wiregrass area. It's famous for its unique Boll Weevil Monument, which celebrates the pest that inadvertently helped the local economy by forcing farmers to switch from cotton to more profitable peanut farming.
