Emily is a lakeside community of about 700 people in Minnesota's lake country, 20 miles north of Brainerd via Highway 6. Take I-94 west from the Twin Cities to Highway 371 north through Brainerd, then Highway 6 to Emily. The town sits on Emily Lake among dense forests that explode with color each fall. The historic Emily Store has been the community hub since 1900.
