Elsberry is a Mississippi River town in eastern Missouri, about 50 miles northwest of St. Louis via scenic Highway 79. The route north leads to Hannibal, while Highway 54 connects westward to central Missouri. This farming community of 1,870 hosts Missouri's largest small-town celebration each Labor Day weekend.
