Elmer is a small farming town in southern New Jersey's Salem County, accessible via Route 40 which runs right through the center. Most visitors arrive from Philadelphia (45 minutes via I-676 and Route 42) or use Route 55 from other parts of South Jersey. The historic grain elevator visible from Route 40 serves as the town's most recognizable landmark.
