Ellport is a small borough of about 1,100 people along the Beaver River, 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh. Take US Route 18 north from Beaver Falls to reach the town, which sits in Lawrence County's river valley. Most residents drive Route 18 south for shopping in Beaver Falls or connect to I-376 for Pittsburgh trips. The municipal building serves double duty as both city hall and volunteer fire station.
