Eldorado is a tiny farming community of 30 people in rural Dorchester County on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Take US-50 east from Baltimore through Cambridge, then MD-16 west and local roads south. The nearest airport is Cambridge Dorchester, about 10 miles away. Named for the Spanish "golden one," the hamlet is surrounded by endless corn and soybean fields.
