Elbing is a tiny farming town of about 300 people in Butler County, Kansas, sitting along Highway 196 about 25 miles northeast of Wichita. Most visitors arrive via I-35 to Newton, then head west on 196 for 8 miles. The town serves surrounding wheat farms and ranches, with Newton City-County Airport just 10 miles away. Its landmark 1925 grain elevator still dominates the prairie skyline.
