Elberon is a tiny farming community in east-central Iowa with just 143 residents. Highway 21 provides the main access, connecting to Cedar Rapids (45 miles southeast) and Waterloo (50 miles northeast) via state highways. The town sits along the Union Pacific Railroad in classic Iowa agricultural country. Its towering grain elevator serves as the area's most recognizable landmark.
