Elba is a small city in Coffee County, southeastern Alabama, serving as a quiet stop in the Wiregrass region. Highway 87 runs north-south through town, connecting to Enterprise 15 miles south and Troy to the north, while State Route 189 provides east-west access. The area features rolling farmland and pine forests typical of the region. Elba is the birthplace of Harper Lee, author of "To Kill a Mockingbird."
