El Lago is a waterfront community of about 3,000 people located 25 miles southeast of Houston along Clear Lake. The city sits on a peninsula between Clear Lake and Taylor Lake with direct access to Galveston Bay. Reach it via State Highway 3 or NASA Parkway from Interstate 45, with Hobby Airport 15 miles northwest. The community features one of Texas's few remaining operational drawbridges.
