Edwardsville is a small Kansas town of 4,700 people located 15 miles west of Kansas City along Interstate 70. Exit 414 provides direct access, while US Highway 24 runs east-west through town toward KC and Topeka. The community sits where the Kansas and Missouri rivers meet, creating rolling terrain typical of northeastern Kansas. The original 1906 limestone jail still stands downtown as a museum.
