Edwards is a small Mississippi town of 930 people located right off Interstate 20, about 15 miles west of Jackson. Most folks get there via I-20 Exit 42 or Highway 18, which runs north-south through town. It's a quick 20-minute drive to Jackson for work and shopping, while Vicksburg sits about 25 miles west. The town serves as home to a major state correctional facility.
