Edon is a farming village of 770 people in northwest Ohio's Williams County, just two miles from Indiana. State Route 49 runs north-south through town, connecting to Bryan 12 miles south and continuing toward Michigan. Most visitors arrive via the Ohio Turnpike, exiting at Route 15 near Bryan. The village sits amid rolling farmland with a quiet downtown and tree-lined streets. Edon's towering concrete grain elevator, visible for miles, still serves local farmers and stands as the area's most recognizable landmark.
