Edom is a small East Texas community of about 315 people, located 15 miles southwest of Tyler via Highway 155. The town sits in Van Zandt County's rolling pine country, accessible from Dallas via I-20 east to Highway 155 north (about 90 miles). Tyler Pounds Regional Airport is 20 miles away. The area features one of Texas's few remaining covered bridges.
