Edgewood is an unincorporated community in Harford County, about 25 miles northeast of Baltimore via I-95 Exit 77A. Built around Aberdeen Proving Ground, it serves military families and Baltimore commuters. Routes 24, 40, and 7 provide regional connections, while the humid climate benefits from Chesapeake Bay breezes. The Army's Chemical Materials Activity operates massive concrete bunkers visible from the highway, safely destroying old chemical weapons.
