Edgewater hugs the Hudson River in Bergen County, just across from Manhattan with direct skyline views. River Road runs the length of this narrow borough between the Palisades cliffs and water, connecting to Fort Lee and the George Washington Bridge northbound. Newark Airport sits 25 miles southwest, LaGuardia about 20 miles southeast. The town hosts Mitsuwa Marketplace, one of the East Coast's largest Japanese grocery stores and food courts.
