Edgewater hugs Florida's central coast between New Smyrna Beach and Oak Hill, sitting right on the Indian River Lagoon. Take I-95 to Exit 229 (SR-442) for the main entrance, or use scenic US-1 for a coastal approach. Orlando's about an hour southwest via I-4 to I-95, while Daytona Beach is just 20 minutes north. The city's waterfront location makes it a boating hub, and it's home to the incredibly biodiverse Indian River Lagoon system.
