Edgerton is a farming community of 6,000 people in south-central Wisconsin, 25 miles southeast of Madison via Highway 51. Interstate 90 runs just four miles south, making it easily accessible from major cities. The town sits among corn and soybean fields in Rock County's rolling countryside. Edgerton earned the nickname "Tobacco City" and still has its original tobacco warehouse downtown from when local farms grew leaf tobacco.
