Eden is a tiny farming town of 221 people in northeastern South Dakota, connected by US Highway 12 to Aberdeen (40 miles west) and Milbank (35 miles east). The community sits on rolling prairie with rich agricultural soil. The town was named after the biblical Garden of Eden by optimistic early settlers who saw promise in the fertile landscape.
