Eden is a small North Carolina town near the Virginia border, about 30 miles north of Greensboro via US 311 and I-785. The Dan River flows through this former textile community, which sits at the intersection of US 311 and US 158. The town's claim to fame is Chinqua Penn Plantation, a grand 1920s estate where FDR once stayed as a guest.
