Ector is a small farming town of 820 people in northeast Texas, about 70 miles from Dallas via Highway 121. The town sits in rolling farm country near the Red River valley, connected to nearby Bonham and Paris by state highways. Its landmark 1920s grain elevator still operates during harvest season and towers over the surrounding wheat and corn fields.
