East Moline is part of the Quad Cities along the Mississippi River in western Illinois. Interstate 80 runs right through town, with I-280 providing a northern bypass and US 67 connecting to Quad City International Airport 15 miles south. Popular local routes include quick trips across the river to Davenport and commutes along I-280 to Rock Island Arsenal. The city houses Deere & Company's massive harvester manufacturing headquarters.
