Early is a farming town of 869 people in northwestern Iowa's Sac County. Highway 20 runs east-west through town, connecting to Storm Lake (15 miles east) and Sac City (12 miles southeast), while Highway 141 provides north-south access. The area features typical Iowa agricultural landscape with corn and soybean fields. Early's preserved 1883 railroad depot now operates as a community museum.
