Earlton is a tiny farming town of about 100 people in southeastern Kansas, 15 miles northeast of Chanute via US 169 and county roads. Most visitors come from Kansas City or Wichita on longer trips, using I-35 to US 169. The 1886 Santa Fe Railway depot still stands as the town's community center.
