Eagle Mountain is a fast-growing planned community in Utah County, about 40 miles southwest of Salt Lake City via I-15 and State Route 73. Take Exit 284 at Lehi and head west for 15 miles through Saratoga Springs. This high-desert city of 53,000 sits at 4,800 feet elevation with newer subdivisions and mountain views. The city's name comes from a rock formation on the nearby mountain that looks like a soaring eagle.
