Dutton is a small Alabama town of about 435 people located 15 miles southwest of Scottsboro via Highway 35. The community sits in Jackson County's rolling hills near the Tennessee Valley, surrounded by farms and woodland. Most visitors arrive from Huntsville (45 miles) or use Highway 35 as the main connection to the area. The town lies close to Russell Cave National Monument, where Native Americans lived continuously for over 10,000 years.
