Dunseith is a small farming town of 800 people near the Canadian border, eight miles from the International Peace Garden. Highway 281 runs north-south through town, connecting to Grand Forks 90 miles southeast, while Highway 5 goes east-west to nearby Rolla. Most visitors come for the Peace Garden, marked by a distinctive 120-foot concrete peace tower.
