Dunkirk sits on Lake Erie's shore in western New York, about 45 miles southwest of Buffalo. Take I-90 to Exit 61, then Route 394 north straight into town. Route 5 runs along the lakefront connecting to Buffalo, while Route 60 heads south toward Jamestown. The 1875 lighthouse on Point Gratiot still guides ships and houses a veterans' museum.
