Duenweg is a small Missouri city just northeast of Joplin on Highway 43, home to about 1,900 people. Take I-44 to Exit 8A, then head north three miles on Highway 43. From Kansas City, use I-49 south to I-44 west. The city sits in Jasper County's rolling terrain and maintains one of Missouri's few volunteer fire departments with an original 1952 fire bell still used to summon firefighters.
