Dubois is a tiny ranching town of 585 people in eastern Idaho's high desert, sitting at 5,200 feet where the Centennial Mountains meet open rangeland. Access is via Highway 22 from Interstate 15 (30 miles east) or Highway 28 from Idaho Falls (90 miles southeast). The town has a small municipal airport and serves as a supply stop for the surrounding agricultural area, where antelope commonly graze right alongside the main highway.
