Drummond is a small ranching town in western Montana, positioned along I-90 between Missoula (45 miles) and Butte (55 miles). Highway 1 branches north toward Phillipsburg and the backcountry. The Clark Fork River valley location supports cattle ranching and hay production. Despite having only 277 residents, Drummond maintains its own airport with a 4,200-foot runway.
