Drexel is a small farming town in western Missouri, about 45 miles south of Kansas City via Highway 71. The main north-south route connects it to KC and Arkansas, while Highway 58 runs east-west through Cass County. Most visitors are either long-distance travelers on the KC-to-Arkansas corridor or locals commuting to metro area jobs. The historic grain elevator visible from Highway 71 serves as the town's most recognizable landmark.
