Drayton is a farming town of 763 people in eastern North Dakota, 15 miles from the Canadian border in the flat Red River Valley. Take I-29 to Exit 164 near Grafton, then head west 10 miles on local roads, or follow Highway 17 north from Grand Forks (45 miles). The restored 1905 Great Northern Railway depot now houses the town museum.
