Dows is a small farming town in north-central Iowa, sitting right on US Highway 20 about 15 miles west of Iowa Falls. Most visitors pass through on Highway 20, which connects to Interstate 35 about 30 miles east. The town of 562 people maintains a restored 1913 railroad depot that now serves as a local history museum with original railroad artifacts.
