Downing is a small farming town in western Wisconsin, about 60 miles east of the Twin Cities and 25 miles northeast of Menomonie. Take I-94 to the Menomonie exit, then Highway 25 north to reach this Red Cedar River valley community. The town's historic creamery building recalls the area's dairy farming heritage.
