Donnellson is a small farming town in southeastern Iowa's Lee County, connected by Highway 2 to Fort Madison (15 miles southeast) and Mount Pleasant (20 miles northwest). Most residents make daily trips to these larger towns for work and services. The historic grain elevator still operates today, standing as the town's most recognizable landmark above the surrounding agricultural fields.
