Dolliver is a farming community of 161 people in north-central Iowa's Emmet County. Highway 4 runs directly through town, connecting north to Minnesota and south to Estherville 8 miles away. US Highway 18 provides the main east-west route, while I-35 sits 30 miles east for longer trips. The town's historic grain elevator towers over the surrounding cornfields and serves as a landmark visible from miles away.
