Dolgeville is a small Mohawk Valley community in central New York's Herkimer County, about 20 miles northwest of Little Falls. Route 29 runs right through town, connecting to Middleville and rural areas, while County Route 112 provides southern access. The village sits where Adirondack foothills meet the valley floor, with several historic brick industrial buildings from the old Dolge piano key factory still standing as reminders of its manufacturing past.
