Dodgeville, the Iowa County seat, sits in Wisconsin's scenic Driftless Area about 45 miles southwest of Madison via US 18. Highway 23 runs east-west through town toward Spring Green and Prairie du Chien, while Highway 191 heads north to the Wisconsin River valley. This small city of 5,000 started the Lands' End clothing empire in 1963.
