Dixon is a tiny farming community of 190 people in eastern Iowa's Scott County. Most visitors drive from the Quad Cities area via Interstate 80 and local county roads, about 25 miles from Davenport Municipal Airport. The town sits in classic Midwest agricultural country where corn and soybean fields dominate the landscape. Dixon's historic 1876 one-room schoolhouse still stands with its original bell tower intact.
